The Central Iowa Compensation & Benefits Network (formerly, Des Moines Compensation & Benefits Network) is committed to providing a professional medium for the exchange of best industry practices, ideas and trends; to promoting the compensation and benefits field by developing partnerships with other human resource associations; and to enhancing the educational and professional development of its members throughout the central Iowa area.

The Central Iowa Compensation & Benefits Network (CICBN) is in a "group partnership network" with WorldatWork (formerly "American Compensation Association"). CICBN is not a chapter but has an affiliation with WorldatWork for the common purpose of promoting the education and professional development of compensation, benefit, and human resource specialists. Membership is open to practitioners in the compensation and benefits field who are actively involved in designing, establishing, executing, administering and/or managing compensation and/or benefits functions or who are accredited through the WorldatWork organization. Individuals who are compensation consultants engaged in providing consulting services and recruiters are not eligible for membership. Membership in CICBN will not be denied because of age, race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion, or disability of such applicant unless based upon the nature of the occupation. Application for membership shall be made to any member of the Board.

Membership dues are not currently required. All monies collected for seminars, certification courses, etc. shall be used to defray the expenses of providing said seminars, courses and other functions benefiting the membership.
